Gilda AronovicGilda Aronovic has had a varied career. Born and raised in Manhattan, she started out teaching middle school mathematics for six years in her home town. After she married, she and her husband moved to Stamford, CT where her husband worked for American Cyanamid as an analytical chemist. Thirty years ago she found herself in Princeton NJdue to a work related move on the part of her husband. She studied computer programming at Rutgers University and worked for a small company, Applied Logic, developing computer programs. At the same time she developed a serious interest in painting, entering local juried shows and winning awards for her work. She has also had one- person shows at the Bernstein Gallery at Princeton University and at The Princeton Jewish Center Gallery. She has been successful selling real estate in the Princeton area for over 30 years, most of that time with the Henderson Real Estate office. Her three children went through the excellent Princeton school system, and all three have done well in their real estate investments as well as their other careers. She has five grandchildren, all girls, in Israel, Crested Butte, CO, and Jacksonville, OR. She is very active in The Princeton Jewish Center. As curator of The Jewish Center Gallery, she mounts shows of Jewish interest and promotes the work of Jewish artists. She counts as good friends many of the people to whom she has sold houses. |
