Anne Colligen

Anne has a background in law. She attended Drake University and the University of Denver School of Law and was subsequently employed as a staff attorney at the U.S. Department of the Interior Board of Land Appeals. She worked directly with Administrative Judges who used her draft opinions to issue final decisions resolving public land, oil and gas and mining disputes.

"I would send anyone I care about to (you)... (You were) professional, thorough and knowledgeable...(You) worked hard for us!...(You were) patient and tireless..." -- AKP

Anne has long loved many aspects of the real estate business. She brings to her career practical knowledge about residential properties. The Colligens purchased a distressed 1940's brick home near Old Town, Alexandria. After planning a major home renovation and hiring an architect and a builder, Anne completed the project in less than a year. The home's transformation was remarkable. With her interest in home building furthered by the renovation, she began taking drafting, construction and architecture classes.

"Your generous attention, excellent listening, sage advice and empathetic support were much appreciated... We cannot thank you enough for your superlative service. We have, and will continue to recommend you." -- JK

The dust had barely settled in Virginia, when the Colligens moved to the Princeton area. This time, they purchased new construction. Anne was at the construction site every day, monitoring the work on their home. Although she had been involved with many aspects of construction over the years, this was the first time Anne had observed every step of new home construction, from foundation work to roofing, truly an invaluable experience.

"Thank you for making the process easy and smooth..." -- HG

Anne and her family have been in this area for over ten years. While living here, the family became a little larger with the addition of Prancer, a ninety-pound golden retriever. The Colligen children enjoy their New Jersey home. They have spent time with friends in Princeton and Montgomery, at the ballet studio, the hockey rinks and the lacrosse fields. Anne would be delighted to share her family's experiences with anyone considering moving to the area.

"You are a knowledgeable person. You helped...me to manage the process well with insight and warmth. It was wonderful working with you." -- MM

Anne works aggressively to serve her clients' interests. She is detail-oriented and listens carefully to her buyers and sellers. Anne is committed to helping her clients make wise business decisions. She adds, "It is my pleasure to work diligently on behalf of my clients. From the moment we meet, until long after the closing, I want my buyers and sellers to be happy they sought my representation. If they are pleased, I have served them well."

"Anne! Thank you for doing a great job!" -- CH
