Sandy Beslity

Sandy was born in Montreal, Canada, and became an American citizen in 1976. She graduated from Hunter College in 1979, with a double major in Economics and Communication. Sandy began her twelve-year career in purchasing with Evelyn Marshall Cosmetics in 1980. Her final position in purchasing was as Director of Purchasing for the New York City Department of Finance.

Sandy, her husband, Jim and their first son, James, moved to Princeton in 1992, when Jim was transferred here by his company, Bristol-Myers Squibb. After a brief sojourn to South Bend, Indiana from 1997 to 1999, Sandy and her family returned to Princeton, and have resided here ever since. Her two other children, Justin and Joslen, were born at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Currently, all three children are enrolled in the Princeton Regional School System. James is in his junior year at Princeton High School, Justin is in the seventh grade at John Witherspoon Middle School, and Joslen is in kindergarten at Johnson Park Elementary School. Jim particularly enjoys living in town because it allows him to see his alma mater, Harvard, compete against the Tigers in sporting events.

Sandy has been very active in school-related functions. Most recently, she served as the Princeton High School Representative for the Princeton Cotillion Planning Committee for 2006, as well as Treasurer on the Post-Prom Party Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Johnson Park School PTO, and is co-chairing this year�s Auction Committee.

During her purchasing career, Sandy was involved in a number of real estate investments. She has also worked on designing home renovations, both for herself and friends. She will be specializing in residential real estate, with a focus on homes in the greater Princeton area.
